The demolition of the threatened house has been postponed thanks to the efforts of local campaigners to mount a legal challenge. The developers, McCarthy & Stone, have submitted revised plans which still involve the demolition of the house. The planning application is reference 16/01705/PLF and any objections must be lodged by 6 July 2016.
