Malton 2013: Continuity - Conservation - Change

Malton 2013

Malton 2013

Wednesday, 1st May 2013

More details of the Conservation Conference to take place in Malton in June have been released:

The Traditional Architecture Group have organised a seminar to introduce and outline new ideas on the conservation, alteration and extension of buildings and historic urban environments through the notion of continuity, using traditional style, materials and methods.

In addition to ensuring aesthetic continuity, we believe this is the only viable solution to the ever increasing traditional skills gap. The final element of the seminar will be an extended panel discussion/debate, panelists will be made up from the speakers, English Heritage and Historic Scotland.

Speakers will include Jan Maciag, Dr Matthew Hardy, Professor Steven Semes & Chris Cotton.
