Advanced Notice of Conservation Conference

The Traditional Architecture Group have organised a seminar to introduce and outline new ideas on the conservation, alteration and extension of buildings and historic urban environments through the notion of continuity, using traditional style, materials and methods. In addition to ensuring aesthetic continuity, we believe this is the only viable solution to the ever decreasing traditional skills gap. The final element of the seminar will be an extended panel discussion/debate, panelists will be made up from the speakers, English Heritage and Historic Scotland, we are hoping that Griff Rhys Jones will chair the debate. Tickets will shortly be available via the website. The event will held at the Milton Rooms, Malton, North Yorkshire on 4th June 2013.
