Report on the 77th AGM
Zion Chapel
The 77th AGM of the GSEY taking place in the Zion URC Chapel, Cottingham.
Saturday, 11th February 2023
The Zion URC Chapel, built 1819, proved to be a good choice of venue for this year's AGM.
After the annual "Year in Review" video, the business of the AGM was presided over by our Chairman Roger Lewis. This was followed by a lecture on Late Georgian Churches by Dr Christopher Webster who has recently published a book on the subject.
The lecture was well illustrated, and somewhat enhanced by taking place in a church of the period under discussion.
As ever the lecture was followed by tea and cakes.
