Yesterday the Society held its last event of 2022. This was the lecture and tea at the Danish Seamans' Church in Hull.
The speaker was Mr Godfrey Holmes: poet, postcard collector and North Sea bather. Mr Holmes entertained us with a whimsical illustrated lecture on the history of Withernsea and its possible future.
