AGM 2012

The Society�s AGM concluded successfully yesterday. After viewing a video of the 2011 visits, the Chairman, Prof Roger Lewis, gave an address in which he reminded the society that this was its 75th anniversary year.
Members were given free copies of the societies latest publication, a revised version of Gwen Staveley�s book �William Mason � A son of Hull, a fame forgotten�. Mrs Staveley was on hand to sign copies.
The meeting concluded with a short illustrated talk by Dr. David Neave on the history of the Georgian Society for East Yorkshire. Copies of this year�s DVD will be offered for sale to members on forthcoming visits.
