AGM held on Saturday 20 February 2016.
The advertised order of events at this years AGM was unfortunately disrupted by some technical issues which meant that the video of 2015 visits had to be delayed until the end.
After the business of the annual report and administration, Peter Brown gave an informative and amusing lecture on the history of tea, coffee and chocolate drinking in England. Tea became the favoured drink in this country because most of the coffee and chocolate was re-exported to the continent where it fetched a much higher price.
The 2015 video can now be viewed on this site and on YouTube. This years visits programme has not yet been printed, but will be posted to society members in the next few days.
