Barbara English to be made MBE in New Years Honours.

The Georgian Society would like to congratulate Professor Barbara English who is to be made a Member of the British empire "For services to Heritage and to the community in Beverley East Riding of Yorkshire" in the 2015 New Years Honours.
Professor English has spent many years working to protect Beverley through the local civic Society. She was also the driving force behind the Beverley Georgian Festival. She will be speaking at the Georgian Society for East Yorkshire's AGM in February.
