The final event of this years GSEY calendar was a talk on Laurence Sterne whose birth tercentenary falls this year. Patrick Wildgust gave a highly entertaining and suitably elliptical talk focusing on Sterne's eccentric novel "The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman" which was enjoyed by all.
