We are sad to announce that Jill Jones, a long standing member of the committee of the Georgian Society for East Yorkshire, passed away on the 19th of March. She was approaching her 90th birthday.
Jill was a regular attendee of the society visits and, despite failing health, even managed to attend last month’s AGM. She reviewed planning applications on behalf of the society for many years.
People will remember her for her consideration for others, her energy and determination and her commitment to good buildings and environments.
